10 APC Govs, Party Chieftains storm Asaba for Oborevwori, Okowa’s defection
Preparations are currently in full swing for the official reception of Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, and his predecessor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, alongside nine other APC governors, has already arrived in Asaba for the event.
Those present include Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Bassey Otu of Cross River State, Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, Dikko Radda of Katsina State, and Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State.
It was also confirmed that the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as well as Senator Adams Oshiomhole, have touched down in the Delta State capital for the high-profile political gathering.
As of the time this report was filed, other APC governors were still being expected in Asaba to witness the defection of the two prominent Delta politicians.
