2025 AFCONQ: Osimhen departs for Super Eagles Camp after Galatasaray signing

On Wednesday night, Victor Osimhen boarded a private jet to Nigeria following his official unveiling as a Galatasaray player.

The 25-year-old striker has secured a season-long loan move from Napoli to the Turkish giants, amid uncertainty surrounding his future with the Serie A club.

With the deal finalized, Osimhen is now en route to Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state, where he will join his Super Eagles teammates for upcoming national duties. He is expected to be the last player to arrive at the camp.

The three-time African champions are scheduled to play Benin Republic this Saturday in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Three days later, Nigeria will travel to face Rwanda.
