Fresh off their Champions League victory against AC Milan, Liverpool secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.

The Reds took control early, though Bournemouth threatened before Luis Díaz opened the scoring in the 26th minute. A powerful drive from the Colombian put Liverpool ahead after a brief scare from the visitors.

Liverpool’s Early Pressure:

Chelsea loanee goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, kept Bournemouth in the game early, making crucial saves from Mohamed Salah, Darwin Núñez, and Díaz. However, he was caught out of position when Ibrahima Konaté set up Díaz for a well-taken finish.

Just 11 minutes later, Díaz doubled his tally, followed by Núñez, who opened his account in style with a spectacular goal to make it 3-0 before halftime.

Bournemouth’s Missed Chances:

Despite being overwhelmed, Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo posed a threat with some dangerous moments, forcing Liverpool’s stand-in keeper, Caoimhin Kelleher, into action. However, their defensive lapses allowed Liverpool to take full advantage.

Second Half:

The second half was more subdued, with Federico Chiesa’s promising debut for Liverpool adding excitement. Bournemouth’s best chance came late when Luis Sinisterra hit the crossbar, but they ultimately couldn’t find a consolation goal.

Liverpool have now won 10 of their last 11 Premier League encounters with Bournemouth, continuing their strong form in the league.
