Tunisia’s President Kais Saied has been re-elected with an overwhelming 90.69 percent of the vote, according to the country’s electoral authority, ISIE.

The announcement was made on national television, confirming Saied’s dominance in Sunday’s election.

Saied, 66, faced limited opposition, with his closest challengers, Ayachi Zemmal, receiving 7.3 percent of the vote, and Zouhair Maghzaoui garnering 1.9 percent. Despite his landslide win, voter turnout was notably low, standing at just 28.8 percent—the lowest since Tunisia’s 2011 revolution.
