BREAKING: PDP Govs forum orders return to status quo amid party dispute

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has directed all members involved in the party’s internal crisis to revert to the status quo.

Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the forum, Bala Mohammed, issued this directive following a meeting of the governors, which concluded early Tuesday.

Governor Mohammed emphasized that while disputes are natural within a political party like the PDP, they can always be resolved amicably.

He assured that there is no major crisis within the party and that key stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees (BoT) and the National Assembly caucus, have reached a consensus for the National Working Committee (NWC) to return to the original structure before the crisis.

Additionally, all suspensions of party members have been nullified, marking a step towards resolving the ongoing internal challenges.
