BREAKING: Tinubu limits convoy size, security detail for ministers, agency heads

In a cost-reduction move, President Bola Tinubu has announced new restrictions on the size of official convoys for Ministers, Ministers of State, and Heads of Federal Government Agencies.

Effective immediately, these officials are allowed a maximum of three vehicles in their convoys.

Additionally, President Tinubu has limited the security personnel assigned to them to five officers four from the Nigerian Police Force and one from the Department of State Services (DSS).

This directive, issued today, is part of the administration’s broader efforts to reduce government expenditure. All affected officials are expected to comply with these measures without delay.
