Tinubu returns to Abuja after Arab-Islamic Summit in Saudi Arabia

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a one-day visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he participated in the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit.

He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Waiting to receive the President at the airport were Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, security chiefs, and prominent government officials. Among those present were Ministers Nyesom Wike (Federal Capital Territory) and Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy). Also in attendance was the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje.

The summit, hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, addressed pressing issues in the Middle East.

During the event, President Tinubu called for an immediate ceasefire in the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing Nigeria’s commitment to a peaceful resolution.l
