Kizz Daniel: ‘Dropping singles alone feels selfish, it’s time for collaborations’
Nigerian singer Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has announced a shift in his music career, expressing a keen interest in collaborating with fellow artists.
The award-winning star made this known on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, stating:
“Na collaboration I dey do now, I don taya to dey drop hit all by myself. [It] feels selfish IDK.”
This new direction is already evident in his recent work. Earlier this month, Kizz Daniel teamed up with Adekunle Gold on the track “Pano Tona”.
The song, a fusion of Kizz Daniel’s signature melodies and Adekunle Gold’s dynamic Afro-fusion sound, was produced by renowned producers Philkeys, Blaise Beat, and Reward Beats.
Kizz Daniel’s decision to prioritize collaborations marks a significant change in his career, signaling his intent to explore fresh creative possibilities and strengthen ties within the music industry. Fans are eagerly anticipating more exciting partnerships in the near future.
Additionally, in January, he collaborated with Davido on the remix of “Twe Twe,” marking a significant partnership between two Afrobeats icons.
