Leicester City dismiss Steve Cooper as manager

English Premier League club Leicester City has confirmed the dismissal of Steve Cooper as the team’s manager, effective immediately.  

The announcement was made on Sunday via a statement on the club’s official website, titled, “Leicester City Part Company With Steve Cooper.”

The club is expected to provide further updates on the managerial situation in the coming days as they seek to stabilize their season.

Cooper’s sack comes after the Foxes lost 2-1 at home against Chelsea in the league on Saturday.
