Osun LG Polls: Gov Adeleke votes, assures peaceful election

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has cast his vote in the ongoing local government election, reaffirming his confidence in a peaceful and credible process.

Adeleke voted at 7:56 a.m. at Unit 9, Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, in Ede North Local Government Area, accompanied by supporters and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Commending the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) for organizing a peaceful election, the governor urged residents to exercise their voting rights without fear of intimidation. He also called on political stakeholders and voters to shun violence before, during, and after the election.

“I want to urge everyone to come out and cast their votes. The election will be peaceful,” Adeleke assured, expressing confidence in the victory of all PDP candidates.
