Super Eagles coach Chelle unveils final team squad for W’Cup qualifiers

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his final 23-man squad for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
This will mark Chelle’s first competitive outing as the coach of the three-time African champions. The final squad selection follows an initial provisional list of 39 players released last week.
The squad comprises three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards, featuring a balance of seasoned players and fresh talent. Nigeria will be aiming for a strong start in the qualifiers under Chelle’s leadership.
