PDP NWC holds first meeting in Abuja

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Acting National Chairman Amb. Umar Damagum, is currently holding a critical meeting.  

This marks the first gathering of the party’s leadership since the Supreme Court dismissed a motion seeking a stay of execution on a High Court ruling that removed Senator Samuel Anyanwu from his position as National Secretary.

The ruling affirmed Hon. Sunday Udeh-Okoye as his replacement.

The outcome of the meeting is expected to shape the party’s next steps in light of the recent legal developments.
