Lagos police nab woman, brother for allegedly stealing iPhones, ₦15M from boyfriend

The Lagos State Police Command has detained a 25-year-old woman for allegedly conspiring with her brother and an accomplice to rob her boyfriend of three iPhones and bitcoins valued at approximately ₦15 million.
Confirming the arrest on Saturday, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the victim had reported the incident at the Okota Police Division on February 17.
“Upon receiving the report, the woman was apprehended,” Hundeyin stated.
He added that based on her confessional statement, officers tracked and arrested her 22-year-old younger brother.
“Both of them confessed to the crime,” the spokesperson confirmed.
Hundeyin further revealed that all the stolen phones and ₦6.5 million had been recovered and registered with the exhibit keeper.
Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects.
