JUST IN: Kano govt imposes 24-hour curfew amid nationwide protests
The Kano State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew in response to escalating protests against bad governance.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf announced the curfew in a broadcast from the government house on Thursday.
Reports indicate that the #EndBadGovernance protests in Kano have resulted in the deaths of two individuals, with numerous properties looted and others destroyed. The curfew aims to restore order and prevent further violence and damage.
