Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has responded sharply to former Blues midfielder Mikel Obi’s criticism of his performance.

Following Jackson’s underwhelming display against Manchester City, Mikel Obi suggested Chelsea consider signing Victor Osimhen as an alternative due to Jackson’s missed chances.

In a decisive rebuttal, Jackson scored Chelsea’s opening goal in their 6-2 victory over Wolves, marking the club’s fastest Premier League goal since 2017. He celebrated by addressing Mikel Obi’s comments directly on social media.

In an Instagram post, Jackson told Mikel Obi to “shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa,” expressing his frustration with the criticism.
