JUST-IN: Mazi Afam Osigwe sworn in as 32nd NBA President, vows to hold Gov’t accountable
Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has officially taken the reins as the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) following his swearing-in ceremony in Lagos.
Osigwe succeeds Mr. Yakubu Maikyau, SAN, whose tenure concluded today.
In his inaugural address, Osigwe made it clear that his administration will prioritize accountability, stating that the NBA, under his leadership, will hold both federal and state governments to account.
His commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring government transparency marks the beginning of a new chapter for the NBA as it continues to play a critical role in Nigeria’s legal and political landscape.
