Matawalle leads Service Chiefs to Sokoto to tackle banditry (video)

The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, is spearheading a mission to Sokoto State with a team of service chiefs to address the issue of banditry in the North West region.

News360 Nigeria had earlier reported that in move to address the escalating security challenges in Nigeria’s North-West, the Federal Government had directed the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, along with other top military officials, to relocate to Sokoto State to lead efforts in eradicating the menace of banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism in the region.
