Popular Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has addressed the reason behind her prolonged absence from the acting scene, a hiatus that left many of her fans both in Nigeria and abroad eagerly waiting for her return.

In a post shared on her official Instagram page on Friday, Jalade-Ekeinde revealed that she took a much-needed break to relax, reflect, and recharge after years of constant work.

The actress, who began her career at the young age of 15, explained that working non-stop for decades had taken a toll, making it necessary for her to step back and rejuvenate.
