Actor Chris Bassey dumps Nollywood for plumbing job in Canada

Nigerian movie producer and actor, Chris Bassey, has revealed that he has transitioned from the entertainment industry to a career in plumbing in Canada.

Bassey shared this surprising move during a recent Instagram Live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze.

In the live chat, Bassey explained that his new career in plumbing offers better pay than most tech jobs and provides him with a more relaxed lifestyle.

When Freeze questioned him about his career path since relocating abroad, Bassey expressed satisfaction with his decision, citing improved work-life balance and financial stability.

“I am into construction here; I do construction; I am a plumber,” the movie producer said.

“In the last seven months, the provinces I have visited on weekends just within Canada, someone who is into tech cannot afford what I was paid. I am not capping. I know what I am saying; I do not know about the US but here.”
