AFCONQ 2025: Super Eagles shares point with Rwanda after goalless draw

Nigeria’s Super Eagles were held to a goalless draw by Rwanda in their 2025 AFCON qualifying match on Tuesday. The match, which took place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, saw both teams fail to break the deadlock despite several attempts.

This result follows the Super Eagles’ 3-0 victory over Benin Republic last Saturday in Uyo, bringing their total points in the qualification group to four.

The Eguavoen-led team had hoped to secure another win but were frustrated by a resilient Rwandan side determined to defend their home turf.

The Super Eagles will now look to their upcoming fixtures to strengthen their bid for AFCON 2025 qualification.
