Atiku’s running mate, Okowa hints at defection from PDP, vows to reveal new direction soon

Former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has hinted at a fresh political course, assuring his supporters that the decision taken is in their collective interest.

While it remains unclear whether his remarks were about his speculated defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) or involvement with a new political coalition, the former governor maintained that his next step would be revealed soon.

“The decision we have taken is for the best interests and good of us all.”

“We are heading to a new direction. Be assured that we will not go in the wrong direction; we will take the best direction, the best path for our people,” Okowa stated.
