Barcelona star, Ansu Fati ruled out with Hamstring injury
Barcelona winger Ansu Fati will be out of action for four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during training, the club confirmed on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old, who has dealt with multiple injury setbacks since his breakout as a teenager in 2019, injured his right hamstring.
He will miss several key games, including Barcelona’s Champions League clash against Brest on November 26 and La Liga matches against Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, Mallorca, and Real Betis.
In a further blow, young winger Lamine Yamal, who recently surpassed Fati as Barcelona’s youngest player and goalscorer, is also sidelined.
The 16-year-old is expected to miss three weeks due to an ankle injury, adding to Barcelona’s current roster challenges as they contend with crucial fixtures in both domestic and European competitions.
Veteran Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has a minor back issue, while Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo and others are also sidelined.
