BREAKING: Saudi Arabia announce June 6 as Sallah day

The sacred Day of Arafah is set to hold on June 5, 2025, marking the spiritual peak of the annual Hajj pilgrimage as millions of Muslim faithful gather at Mount Arafat in Saudi Arabia.
This deeply significant day represents a moment of reflection, forgiveness, and supplication for Muslims worldwide.
Following closely, Eid-el-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, will be observed on June 6, 2025.
The festival commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham) unwavering faith and readiness to sacrifice his son in submission to the will of Allah.
In preparation for this period, Haramain Sharifain shared one of the most revered supplications recited by pilgrims entering the sacred state of ihram:
“Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayk la sharika laka Labbayk. Innal Hamda, Wannimata, Laka Wal-Mulk, La Sharika Lak.”
(“Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily, all praise, grace, and sovereignty belong to You, and You have no partner.”)
These announcements give Muslims globally the opportunity to spiritually and physically prepare for this holy period, which includes the observance of Hajj rites, communal prayers, charity to the needy, and the symbolic sacrifice of livestock in honour of Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion.
