BREAKING: Tension escalates as Iranian missiles strike Israel’s largest urban city, Tel Aviv

A massive plume of smoke rose over the Israeli city of Tel Aviv on Friday following a barrage of missile fire from Iran, an AFP journalist at the scene has reported.

Thick columns of dark smoke could be seen towering over the city’s skyline as explosions rocked the area, sending shockwaves through the densely populated metropolis.

The attack comes in the aftermath of a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear and military sites on Thursday night.

The full extent of the damage and casualties remains unclear as both nations brace for what appears to be a dangerous escalation in hostilities.
