BREAKING: Tinubu approves creation of Livestock Development Ministry

President Bola Tinubu has announced the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development.

The President made the announcement on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.

The President will lead the Committee, with Attahiru Jega, the former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (EFCC), serving as the Deputy Chairman.

The Committee is supposed to make recommendations aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence between herders and farmers while guaranteeing the security and economic well-being of all Nigerian citizens.
