BREAKING: UNIZIK management expels student who assaulted lecturer

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) has expelled Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious from the institution.
This was disclosed on Friday in a statement by the Acting Registrar, Victor Modebelu, who noted that the decision followed a report submitted by the Student Disciplinary Committee to the Acting Vice-Chancellor.
According to the statement, Chimamaka was found guilty of gross misconduct and violating the university’s Students Disciplinary Regulations, specifically Regulation 4, after assaulting a lecturer from the Department of Theater and Film Studies.
“The Ag. Vice-Chancellor, consequently, on behalf of the University Senate, approved the Committee’s recommendation that you be expelled and you are hereby expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka,” the statement added.
