Brighton & Hove Albion are preparing to announce the signing of Greek forward Stefanos Tzimas in a £22 million deal, with the transfer set to be finalized in July.

The 18-year-old striker will continue his development on loan at German club Nürnberg for the remainder of the current season.

The move has been confirmed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who revealed that Tzimas has already completed his medical ahead of the summer switch.

“Brighton are set to announce Stefanos Tzimas as new signing as revealed yesterday. £22m transfer fee agreed and deal valid from July as he’s staying on loan at Nurberg. Medical already done,” Romano said.

Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell is undergoing medical tests at Crystal Palace ahead of a loan move to the club.

According to Romano, Chelsea have approved all documents, with only the medical and final signing left before the deal is officially completed.

“Ben Chilwell, set for medical tests now at Crystal Palace to join the club on loan. Chelsea approved all documents now waiting for medical and then sign. Here we go,” he added.

In Italy, Danish defender Victor Nelsson is close to sealing a move to AS Roma from Galatasaray after both clubs reached an agreement in principle.

According to Romano, the final step will be document verification, with Nelsson having already accepted the move.

Elsewhere, Chelsea are expected to make a decision regarding João Félix’s future, with multiple clubs interested in securing a loan deal for the Portuguese forward.

If a move for Félix is finalised, it could impact Chelsea’s plans for the loan transfer of Valentín Anselmino to Olympique Marseille.
