CBN appoints new board for Keystone Bank, names Ada Chukwudozie as Chairman
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has restructured the board of directors for Keystone Bank Limited as part of efforts to strengthen the bank’s operations and drive sustainable growth.
The financial institution announced on Wednesday that Lady Ada Chukwudozie has been appointed as the new board chairman, alongside five non-executive directors and two new executive directors.
The non-executive directors include Abdul-Rahman Esene, Mrs. Fola Akande, Akintola Ayodeji Olusoji, Obijiaku Samuel, and Senator Farouk Bello.
The newly appointed executive directors are Ladi Oluwole and Abubakar Usman Bello.
Lady Ada Chukwudozie, the new board chairman, is a prominent figure in Nigeria’s corporate sector with nearly 30 years of experience in business strategy and management across various industries.
Abdul-Rahman Esene, a seasoned expert in banking and corporate finance, and Mrs. Fola Akande, with her extensive experience in legal and risk management, add substantial expertise to the board.
Managing Director and CEO of Keystone Bank, Mr. Hassan Imam, expressed confidence in the new appointments, believing the bank will benefit from the diverse and vast experience of the new board members.
