Chelsea’s Cole Palmer wins EPL Player of the month for September
Chelsea’s 22-year-old midfielder, Cole Palmer, has been named the English Premier League (EPL) Player of the Month for September 2024, as announced on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Palmer impressed throughout the month with six goal contributions in just four matches, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
Palmer’s standout performances include netting a goal in Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium and scoring four goals in a 4-2 win against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge.
He also assisted Nicolas Jackson’s goal in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
The English international beat stiff competition to claim the award, surpassing Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Ryan Gravenberch, along with Ollie Watkins, Gabriel Magalhaes, Harvey Barnes, Raul Jimenez, and Dwight McNeil.
This latest recognition comes shortly after Palmer was awarded England Men’s Player of the Year, highlighting his consistent top-tier performances for both club and country.
