The Division conducted a Public Speaking Engagement with pupils of Sani Dinyadi Unity Secondary School in Sokoto.

The public speaking exercise which took place on Tuesday 2nd July in selected schools across the country, created a platform for the Nigerian Army to inspire and educate students on the various opportunities in the Army, including the positive contributions made and achievements the NA has recorded while rendering its services to our dear nation.

Lagbaja, in his remarks, said, “The engagement was part of the Army’s ways of creating unique opportunities for students to interact with personnel of the Nigerian Army.

“It is also aimed at fostering positive perceptions of the Nigerian Army among the younger generations, thereby encouraging them to consider serving in the Army which is a noble profession”

The COAS who was represented by the Acting Commander 108 Division Equipment Workshop, Colonel Aliyu Musa, noted that the Nigerian Army offers individuals, greater opportunities to achieve their life goals which he said are not limited to fighting at the war front.

He highlighted the various roles and services the individual Corps of the Nigerian Army plays or provides in the cause of rendering services to the society.

The students who were overwhelmed with joy were tutored on various topics ranging from the selection and recruitment process, requirements for joining the Army and sensitization against drug abuse. They were also enlightened on the numerous life-enhancing benefits the Nigerian Army offers its serving personnel.
