DSS operative, Policeman shot as NDLEA raids Guest House in Abuja

Two security personnel were injured during an operation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at a guest house in Abuja that accommodates security officers.
According to a report by counter-insurgency expert Zagozola Makama, intelligence sources confirmed that the incident happened on April 18 around 6:00 p.m. when NDLEA operatives stormed the guest house located in the Jahi area of the Federal Capital Territory.
During the operation, the NDLEA operatives reportedly fired gunshots, which resulted in injuries to two officers.
A corporal from the 24 Police Mobile Force (name withheld) sustained a bullet graze injury to his ribs, while a Department of State Services (DSS) officer was shot in the leg. Both officers were taken to Gwarinpa General Hospital, treated for their injuries, and later discharged.
The report also stated that two rounds of live ammunition and five used bullet shells were recovered from the scene. Sources added that investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
