The Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the suspension of its former chairman, Anselm Ojezua, over allegations of anti-party activities.

The suspension, which was confirmed by party officials, follows accusations that Ojezua had engaged in actions that undermined the unity and progress of the party ahead of the upcoming governorship election. The decision comes amid heightened tensions within the party as it seeks to consolidate its position in the state.

Ojezua, who once served as the state chairman, is now facing internal disciplinary measures, with party leaders insisting that his actions violated the core principles of the PDP.
