Emirates resumes flights to Lagos after two-year break
On Tuesday, Emirates airline, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marked its return to Nigeria, touching down at Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos.
The airline resumed operations after a two-year pause, which was initially caused by a range of challenges, including unresolved issues surrounding trapped funds belonging to the airline in Nigeria.
This long-awaited return signifies a positive shift in relations and a renewed commitment to serving the Nigerian market, restoring a vital link between the two nations.
