Ex-Enugu NBA Chairman, Jude Ezegwui, passes on
Dr. Jude Ezegwui, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Enugu branch, has passed away.
His death occurred on August 22, 2024, as confirmed in a statement released on Friday by the current Enugu NBA Chairman, V.C. Odo.
The statement expressed the profound sadness and sense of loss felt by the legal community, noting Dr. Ezegwui’s significant contributions to the NBA.
Dr. Ezegwui served as the Chairman of the Enugu branch from 2020 to 2022 and was previously the Legal Adviser to the Bar from 2014 to 2016. At the time of his death, he was a Council Member of the NBA’s Section on Business Law.
His elder brother confirmed the devastating news, highlighting the impact Dr. Ezegwui had on the legal profession.
The NBA Enugu branch urged members to keep Dr. Ezegwui’s family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and to offer their support as burial arrangements are finalized.
