FCT Police identify 17 criminal hideouts in FCT (Full List)
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has flagged 17 areas within Abuja as criminal black spots, initiating targeted measures to address security concerns in these locations.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the FCT Police Command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, disclosed that daily raids and strategic operations have been intensified in these areas to maintain law and order.
“These identified criminal black spots are under continuous surveillance and strategic policing. Conducting daily raids in these locations has proven critical to ensuring the safety of residents,” Adeh stated.
She also highlighted the successes achieved through these efforts, noting that 348 suspects had been arrested for various criminal activities, with 320 of them prosecuted and charged to court.

1. Apo-Dutse Panteka
2. Diplomatic Zone
3. New PDP Secretariat
4. Kabusa Panteka
5. Ajakaita (Tungan-Maje)
6. Abuja-Kaduna Road
7. Jabi Panteka
8. Apo-Waru Panteka
9. Area 1 (Monkey Village)
10. Durumi Village
11. Gwarimpa
12. Angwan Tivi
13. Mpape (Mashafa and Shishinpe Villages)
14. Durumi III (Burukutu Garden)
15. Mabushi (Gishiri Village)
16. Kubwa (Pipeline and NEPA Road)
17. Maitama (under the Transcorp Bridge).
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities as the police intensify efforts to ensure Abuja’s safety and security.
