The federal government has officially lifted the suspension on Arik Air’s operations.

This development was announced in a statement on X by Michael Achimugu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Achimugu confirmed that the conflict leading to the suspension has been resolved, allowing Arik Air to resume its services.

This resolution marks a significant step forward for the airline, which can now continue its operations and serve its customers across Nigeria and beyond.

The NCAA emphasized its commitment to maintaining safe and efficient aviation services while protecting consumer rights.

The post reads: “The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, and the DG of NCAA, Capt. Chris Najomo, have successfully resolved the impasse between Arik Air and Atlas Petroleum. By this resolution, Arik Air will begin operations today.”
