Five Nigerians nabbed in Libya for alleged theft

Authorities in Sabha, Libya, have apprehended five Nigerian nationals in connection with the alleged theft of electrical equipment from a local farm.
The arrest was made public on Monday, May 26, 2025, through a social media update by Migrant Rescue Watch.
According to the announcement, the suspects were taken into custody by officers from the Al-Qahira Police Department on Sunday, May 25.
The report confirmed that all five individuals have since been handed over to the public prosecution for further legal proceedings.
