Nigerian Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 de Ultimate, is grieving the loss of his wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe, who passed away in the early hours of today.

Alhaja Hafsat, aged 65, succumbed to an undisclosed illness. Following Islamic traditions, she was laid to rest at Abari Cemetery in Lagos shortly after her demise.

Paying tribute, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA Chairman described the late Alhaja Hafsat as an exemplary woman, a devoted mother, and a pillar of service to God and humanity.

In a condolence statement to her family and supporters, he encouraged them to find solace in her legacy and the positive impact she made during her lifetime.

“We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner,” the statement read. “You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity. Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest.”
