Gunmen storm Benue varsity community, abduct four female students

Reports emerging from Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi (formerly known as University of Agriculture, Makurdi) indicate that four female students have been abducted by unknown gunmen within the university premises.

The victims have been identified as Emmanuella Msenuter Orakaa, Susan, Iember Apebo, and Folashade.

Sources confirm that the Chairman of Makurdi Local Government, Hon. Keffi, has arrived at the scene with a strong security presence to ensure the safety of other students while search and rescue operations are currently underway.
