Harvesters Church Founder Bolaji Idowu arrested over alleged fraud

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested Bolaji Idowu, founder of the Harvesters International Christian Centre, for alleged involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering.

Sources revealed that Idowu is currently being interrogated at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja. The investigation follows accusations related to financial misconduct.

Idowu, who founded the church in 2003, is a prominent figure known for his work in ministry and community outreach. Details of the allegations and ongoing investigation are still emerging.

“The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering,” the source said.

Another source told the outlet that the “Next-Level Prayer Conference” pastor “is at the FCID Abuja as we speak.”

Spokesperson for the FCT police command, Josephine Adeh, and the Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, did not respond to Peoples Gazette’s inquiry about the arrest.
