He’s only useful in attacking people – Ndume slams Daniel Bwala

Former Senate Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, has rubbished Daniel Bwala, the former spokesman for Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, asserting that Bwala lacks political significance.

According to Ndume, Bwala is untrustworthy and primarily serves to attack political adversaries, urging President Bola Tinubu to be wary of him.

Recently, Ndume and Bwala have clashed over the senator’s criticism of Tinubu. Ndume has accused Tinubu of limiting access to lawmakers and ministers amidst the current economic challenges facing Nigerians.

Speaking to journalists at his residence in Maiduguri, the Borno South senator remarked: “We have credible people in the Hawul local government area who know Daniel Bwala’s true nature. When I saw a message on his X handle, I initially thought it was from Inuwa Bwala, the former Caretaker Chairman of Hawul and a respected journalist. He confirmed it wasn’t him.

“Later, I realized it was Daniel Bwala, who holds no political relevance in Southern Borno.

“Bwala is merely seeking sympathy from Mr. President. He was once a member of the APC but defected to join Atiku Abubakar, where he began hurling all sorts of accusations and insults at Tinubu on live television. Bwala’s only talent lies in attacking people,” Ndume concluded.
