Hisbah arrest popular Kano TikTok personality G-Fresh Al-amin

G-Fresh Al-amin, a popular and controversial TikTok star , has been apprehended by Kano Hisbah Command agents.

Aliyu Usman, the head of the Surveillance Unit of the commission, confirmed the detention to Daily Trust.

Usman revealed that G-Fresh was arrested at his Badawa residence on Sunday at about 1 p.m.

“He had been evading us for a while, despite repeated invitations for counselling based on directives from the Commandant General. I personally reached out to him multiple times by phone, urging him to come in, but he continually declined.

“Consequently, we had no alternative but to locate and arrest him. He is currently in our custody, undergoing investigation,” Usman stated.

The TikToker’s arrest was prompted by his allegedly inappropriate comments and the improper recitation of Fatiha, the first chapter of the Holy Quran, during the recent Sallah festivities.
