Houses razed as Adamawa communities clash over boundary

A violent clash between residents of Lamza and Kawa villages in Guyuk Local Government Area of Adamawa State has resulted in the destruction of four thatched huts.
The conflict, which erupted over a boundary dispute, took place on Friday and was reported by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X on Saturday.
According to Makama, the confrontation began around 10:15 a.m., leading to properties being set ablaze. Fortunately, no casualties were recorded.
“Authorities have since intervened to restore peace, and a stakeholders’ meeting has been scheduled to resolve the dispute and prevent further clashes,” he said
