How Bobrisky reached out to me during naira abuse case – Singer Falz reveals

Nigerian rapper Falz has shed light on how popular crossdresser Bobrisky reached out to him during his recent legal troubles over Naira abuse.
Bobrisky was arrested last year and handed a six-month jail term for spraying Naira notes at a public event, an act which violates Nigerian law.
Recently, internet personality VeryDarkMan released an audio conversation which he claimed was between Bobrisky and Falz.
In the recording, Bobrisky was allegedly heard saying that human rights lawyer Femi Falana and Falz had contacted him while he was in prison.
Bobrisky, however, dismissed the audio as fake and threatened to take legal action against VeryDarkMan for defamation.
He insisted that the voice in the recording was not his and accused the content creator of trying to tarnish his image.
In an Arise TV interview, Falz said Bobrisky sent a message to him via Instagram, asking for his aid with the Naira abuse case.
The rapper said he gave audience to Bobrisky just like he would to other people seeking legal assistance from him.
The ‘Jeje’ hitmaker said out of his sincere heart, he intended to offer his help, but it turned out otherwise.
The 34-year-old added that despite the backlash he received from the situation, he would not refrain from helping other people seeking legal advice.
“Before that incident or phone call, I never had a relationship. She would message me on Instagram, saying I am in this so-so case. I want to speak to you about how you can help me,” he said.
“Tons and tons of people message me about similar issues like that. And this is not a social case. It is not an exception. In all those cases, I would give them an audience and ask what the plea is. How can I help?
“I would do that with my heart of hearts passionately. Little did I know. As they say, once beaten, twice shy. At the end of the thought, I would not say I will never go to help anybody in my life again. It is just to be a little bit more cautious.”
