How I relocated from UK to join Big Brother Naija show – Ben

Newly evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Benjamin Olufemi, popularly known as Ben, has opened up about his decision to relocate from the United Kingdom to participate in the show.

In an interview following his eviction on Sunday, the nightlife promoter explained that his primary goal was to leverage the platform to promote his business.

“I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job,” he stated, noting that his partnership with fellow contestant Tjay played a significant role in his decision to join the show.

As a permanent resident in the UK, Ben emphasized that nightlife events typically take place on weekends, which allowed him to dedicate time to Big Brother.

He said in full speech:

“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.

“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.

“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming.”
