‘I am King of Nigeria’ – singer Davido to Saudi Prince

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, introduced himself as the “King of Nigeria” during a recent interaction in France. 

This moment took place when Davido crossed paths with a fan who identified himself as a Saudi Arabian Prince on the streets of Paris.

The encounter, captured in a video and shared on social media on Thursday, sparked excitement among fans worldwide.

In response, Davido introduced himself as the “King of Nigeria” and then proceeded to take a photo with the fan.

Davido’s self-proclaimed title as “King of Nigeria” adds to his collection of monikers, including “OBO” (Omo Baba Olowo), which references his 2012 hit Dami Duro, as well as “Baddest” and “001,” affirming his status as a top figure in the global Afrobeats scene.
