‘I regret being famous’ – Bobrisky
Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has shared the challenges of navigating life as a celebrity, particularly the loss of privacy and personal boundaries.
Following a recent incident where he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at Lagos’ Muritala Mohammed Airport, Bobrisky took to Instagram (in a now-deleted post) to express his regret about the fame he once sought.
He reflected on how his rise to stardom has come at a significant cost, with his privacy constantly under scrutiny.
Bobrisky also touched on the toxic environment in Nigeria, suggesting that the pressures of public attention and the lack of personal space have made celebrity life more difficult than he had anticipated.
His post reads, “Every spirit of monitoring spirit in my life, dissapear.Imagine posting and people are trying to know your location. I lost my privacy ever since I became famous. I wish I was never famous. You just have to keep everything about you away from social Nigeria is too toxic”.
