Iconic American rapper, Eminem set to become a grandfather

Eminem, the iconic American rapper, is set to become a grandfather at 51. The news was revealed in his music video for the song Temporary, released on Thursday.

In the video, he dedicated the song to his 28-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade, who is expecting her first child.

The video features a touching montage of clips showing moments from their lives, including a special scene where Hailie presents Eminem with a blue jumper labeled “Grandpa 1.”

She then hands him what appears to be an ultrasound scan, which a visibly emotional Eminem shows to the camera.

Shortly after the video’s release, Hailie Jade made her own announcement via social media, sharing photos of herself and her husband, Evan McClintock, embracing while looking at the ultrasound image.

Hailie, a social media influencer, celebrated the exciting moment with her followers.

She wrote: “Mom & dad est. 2025”.

‘Temporary’, which features singer Skylar Grey, is from the rapper’s latest album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace), which was released earlier this summer.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, explains in the introduction to the emotional track that it is for his daughter to listen to “When I’m no longer here”.
