Israeli strikes target military sites in central Syria

Published

on

Israeli airstrikes on Sunday evening hit five military sites in central Syria, including an area known for hosting a scientific research center.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the strikes were carried out in three waves, specifically targeting military facilities in Masyaf, located east of Hama.

This region is known for housing experts involved in pro-Iranian arms development.

The latest escalation follows a series of similar strikes by Israel, aimed at curbing Iranian influence in Syria and preventing the development of advanced military capabilities in the region.
