Jamb: How to check 2025 UTME results [Full Guide]

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the official breakdown of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results, revealing that more than 1.5 million out of 1,955,069 candidates scored below 200.

According to the figures made public on Monday, only 420,415 candidates managed to score above 200, while less than 1% of the total candidates recorded scores exceeding 300.

JAMB also disclosed that a total of 40,247 underage candidates participated in the examination to showcase their exceptional academic abilities. Out of this figure, only 467 candidates, representing 1.16%, met the set benchmark, with further assessments planned for them.

How to Check UTME Results Online

Step 1: Visit the official JAMB result-checking portal.

Step 2: Enter your phone number used during registration or your registration number.

Step 3: Click on “Check My Results” to view your score instantly.

Candidates are advised to either screenshot or print their results for future use.

How to Check UTME Results via SMS

Step 1: Using the phone number linked to your JAMB registration, send “UTMERESULT” to 55019. Ensure you have a minimum of N50 airtime on the line.

Step 2: In a few minutes, your UTME result will be sent to you via SMS.

If no response comes through immediately, candidates are advised to retry later.

After confirming their scores, candidates can also log into the JAMB portal to print official copies of their results.
